Our comprehensive Sheet Metal Work and Fabrication service begins with either an initial meeting or just an enquiry. We can undertake a site survey and provide drawings and quotation if required, as well as offering full CAD/CAM design services and digital prototyping, high quality concept, design, manufacture, completion and installation.
Facilities
Our complete one-stop-shop houses all the facilities required to ensure the most efficient completion of our customers’ fabrication projects. Bending, sheering, cutting, guillotining and welding equipment allows us to manufacture both one-off bespoke jobs and large scale batch production jobs.
- Bending — Our 3m bed brake press machinery offers 100 tonnes of folding power, enabling us to form sheet steel up to 12mm in thickness. We also have a bi folding bender which can bend up to 2.5m long and up to 5mm thick, enabling us to ascertain angles beyond 90 degrees.
- Guillotine/Sheering — The guillotine can cut 3m long up 4mm thick, and our sheer can cut up to 15mm, 350mm wide
- Welding — AB&C use the latest MIG and TIG systems to weld stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminium.
Additionally, we also have a wide range of other specialist machinery on site such as punch, lath, milling machine, plasma cutter and various saws to enable us to complete the most complex jobs
Specialties
Our specialities include construction of work stations, robot cells, machine guards, barriers, access stairways, amongst many others. Once designed, and then fabricated, projects can be handed over to our experienced installation teams if our client requires this service. Our site teams all hold current CSCS cards, I-path cards and PASMA cards which enable them to gain access to most sites.
